Only 15 days until ACE enforcement begins at all ports in Michigan
and New York.

On February 23, 2007, CBP announced that Phase 1 of ACE enforcement will begin May 24, 2007 at all highway ports in
the states of Michigan and New York.
60 days following Phase 1, CBP will deny entry to any carrier arriving at customs without submitting or attempting to submit an e-Manifest.
90 days
following Phase 1, CBP will deny entry to any carrier arriving at customs without first successfully transmitting an e-Manifest for their trip. Carriers not attempting to comply with requirements may
be subject to monetary penalties.
