Customs and Border Protection
announced that two major bridge crossings at Buffalo, N.Y, are being added to the Automated Commercial Environment electronic truck manifest system.
The agency announced ... that the Peace Bridge was to get the
e-truck manifest system after July 10, and the Lewiston Bridge after
August 12. Customs also has begun deploying the automated manifest for trucks
to other crossings in New York. The Champlain, N.Y., service port, including crossings at Cannon's Corner, Mooers, Overton's Corner and Rouse's Point, was to be added after June 22.
Around July 10, ports at Alexandria Bay, Ogdensburg, Massena and
Trout River, N.Y. were to be added, along with Chateaugay, Churubusco, Fort Covington, and Jamieson's Line, N.Y....
