growing importance of the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program to the efficient cross-border operations
of our clients, TAHOCO Logistics has partnered with Norman Jaspan Associates, Inc., to be our
exclusive provider of C-TPAT related consulting and training services.
NJA is a respected management consulting firm that has been operating internationally and domestically for over 75 years. It
combines investigative audits with management engineering functions and specializes in safeguarding company assets, developing shortage controls, evaluating systems and formulating educational training programs.
The
company’s team of professional experts provides a variety of services including, working with firms to join the C-TPAT program and preparing for the validation phase, the formal response to the validation report, and annual
self-assessment. NJA also provide the necessary written policies and procedures, employee threat-awareness program, and employee background/criminal checks for C-TPAT compliance.
Since the inception of the C-TPAT program by
CBP over six years ago, NJA has been instrumental in facilitating the application process for the importer of record and/or the consignee in addition to various service providers and carriers throughout the United States. and

NJA’s C-TPAT services consist of working with companies interesting in joining the C-TPAT program or becoming compliant if ineligible to join (public warehouses, domestic trucking companies,

level 2 and 3) and prepares the company for the CBP validation visit.
